Comments: My son saw his regular pediatrician for hip pain that was thought to be just growing pains and turned out to be a slipped Capital epiphysis (hope I speed that correctly). His ball joint and long bone of his leg slipped out of place and was causing him pain. Dr. Black had X-rays taken and promptly jumped into action regarding my then 14 year old son. He scheduled surgery and explained completely what would be done and how long recovery would take. My son had 2 screws out into the hip to hold it and was then on the road to recovery. I thank God this went well and surgery was a success. He is back at running, jumping and even martial arts. Took him out for a while but he recovered a lot quicker than was originally thought. Staff was wonderful as was the doctor. Thank you for your great work.
